Perennials Coneflower - Kims Knee High
Coneflower Kims Knee High A great choice for cut flowers, adding a wilderness look to your garden. Not only is it a prized perennial for many gardeners, but also a potent medicine. Echinacea is known for its large flower heads that turn to seed in the fall. With its dark green foliage, Echinacea ‘Kim's Knee High’ stands 2’ high with a plant spread of 12-23”. For best results, plant in full sun in a well drained area. The large, fragrant flowers bloom from July to October and a major attractor to butterflies and bees and deer resistant, it is a must for any perennial gardens. ‘Kim’s Knee High’ is the newest and smallest variety to be added to the Echinacea family.

Coral Bells Obsidian Coral Bells are grown more for their foliage color but the small blooms that they contain will attract hummingbirds. Taller shoots of cream colored flowers appear on this evergreen variety in June. Use this coral bell as a ground cover, in rock gardens, as a border plant or as an edger along paths and walkways. Like most Coral Bells, it thrives in partial sunlight but once established it will also grow in shade. Plant the Obsidian with Coral Bells Lime Ricky, Marmalade or Peach Flambe for a fantastic color contrast.

It tolerates the heat and humidity extremely well and flowers best in a sunny location. The fern like leaves make a great contrast with the daisy shaped flowers. The Coreopsis Autumn Blush, Coreopsis 'Autumn Blush' (PPAF) is a wonderful new variety to the Coreopsis family.
Daylily Rosy Returns The Daylily Rosy Returns, Hemerocallis 'Rosy Returns' (Apps, '99,PP9779), is a dwarf variety that has large 4 inch bright rose flowers with a dark pink eye and yellow throat on green foliage. Rosy Returns will bloom from June until frost and may be hardy all the way to zone 2. It can survive harsh conditions that many other plants can not and prefers full sun for the best performance. Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. They will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Use for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.
